The family team behind Grapat have been crafting wooden toys that inspire the imagination for a decade. After the births of their children, the couple behind Grapat realised that little ones do not need fancy toys to shape their play, all that is needed is presence, and imagination - and whole new worlds can be formed and explored, using nothing but the imagination.
Based on this premise, Grapat toys are created in wood, with hand painting, to craft loose pieces that serve to enhance play, rather than to dictate it. By living in synchronicity with nature and respecting the world around us, the Grapat team work in service of playfulness and childhood. Their toys come without instruction, totally open ended and we encourage you to not interfere in your child's play, just to observe and be present as they realise the magic of their imaginations.
Grapat toys are safe and non-toxic, there may be variations in colour and appearance as they are handmade, and each piece is unique.
